The ceremony commenced with the solemn performance of the U.S. national anthem, marking the official start of the 42nd Annual Awards Dinner of the Chinese American Construction Professionals. The new CACP President, Max Yan, began by expressing heartfelt gratitude to past presidents and union members for their contributions. He acknowledged that the leadership, vision, and dedication of previous presidents laid the foundation for the association's current achievements. He also extended sincere congratulations to the evening's award winners for their exceptional performance in the construction industry.

New President Max Yan stated, "I am honored to serve as the new president of CACP. It is a great privilege and I am deeply humbled to take on this important role. I thank the past presidents for their outstanding contributions to the Chinese American construction union. As the new president, I feel a tremendous responsibility and will be committed to continuing and enhancing the association's excellent traditions. CACP's mission has always been to serve the Chinese community and work for the welfare of Chinese-Americans in the U.S. Whether in daily life, construction, or related industries, we are dedicated to providing all necessary support. CACP has been around for 42 years, and we hope to continue to expand and strengthen our support in the future. I also appreciate the support of the sponsors, especially our platinum sponsor Adesso Nonprofit Foundation, as well as SoCal Edison, SoCal Gas, and other sponsors."

Regarding future development plans, President Yan emphasized, "I will uphold the founding principles of the association and continue to seek benefits for the Chinese community. Each month, we will hold free seminars to provide valuable knowledge and resources to the community. We are also working to expand CACP’s influence nationally and globally."

President Yan highlighted, "Currently, CACP has established more than twenty chapters across the U.S. and has branches in other countries. We will continue to advance this process and further expand CACP’s influence. At the same time, we hope to provide better assistance to Chinese immigrants from around the world, helping them integrate more smoothly into local life."

Outgoing President Andy Jiang remarked, "I am very honored to witness the significant growth and development of CACP over the past few years. The construction industry has undergone tremendous changes, from pioneering technologies to the rapid rise of artificial intelligence, and CACP has continually adapted and progressed. Since becoming president in 2012, we have established numerous chapters nationwide and globally, introduced the Construction Excellence Awards to recognize emerging talents and innovative projects, and organized construction expos to promote collaboration between contractors and material suppliers."

He added, "Additionally, we have set up 26 online chat groups to help members solve problems and make decisions quickly in a fast-paced environment. These achievements stem from our collective efforts and diverse perspectives, which make us stronger. I am proud of everyone’s contributions and sincerely thank you for your unwavering support of CACP."
