State of the art education and individualized treatment for children with Autism and other behavior disorders and disabilities through residential and day school programs to maximize student independence. Specific duties include:

Case Management:

  • Individualized Education Plan (IEP) writing and implementation, monitor student progress with IEP year and write progress reports reflecting specific data;
  • Write, implement, and monitor the results of programs;
  • Summarize and analyze daily data;
  • Advocate for specific students needs and programs.

Educating Students on Team:

  • Intensive academic instruction with ratios from 1:1 to 1:3;
  • Applied daily living skills, such as personal hygiene;
  • Vocational training through community and school-based sites;
  • Community Movements teaching students appropriate behavior in social and community situations;
  • Incidental teaching, including helping students generalize functionally outside the classroom;
  • Teamwork with other teachers on shift to ensure safety and maximize educational efficiency.
