Have you ever been curious about what the people you went to high school with are doing?  Well, there's a website for that.  There's a website for everything, these days...

So yes, I've visited this website... caught up with the lives of many people I was in school with just 8 years ago.  Just... it seems like forever ago.

And truly... it's sickening.  The majority of them are married, or at least engaged and/or living with the significant other, and so many of them already have children too.  I can't imagine some of those people as actual adults, let alone having their own kids and living responsible lives.

And then, I start to panic a little and wonder if I'm wasting my 20s.  But then... I realize I'm really not.  I'm really, really not.  I've done what I've wanted to do and very little I haven't wanted to do.  I've lived in a couple of different places and absorbed new cultures (and realized I have so much more to see).  I've gotten out of Texas and stayed gone long enough to appreciate coming back, at least for a little while.

On a pretty much completely unrelated note, last night I went dancing.  But not just any type of dancing... this was country & western dancing... like two-stepping.  It was a lot of fun!  And I don't exactly listen to country music, either... but I had a great time anyway, and I managed to step on a lot of feet (including my own).

And now, I'd like to leave you with one of my favorite quotes of all time.  "There are easier things in life than finding a good man... nailing Jell-O to a tree, for instance."
