today, i head to texas again for christmas. i'll be gone until the 30th.

looks like there won't be many december entries this time........ oh well! i'm sure you can deal.

i'm looking forward to it... i'm sure cici isn't. i'm taking her on the airplane with me, one-way. she's staying at my parents' house until i get to texas at the end of january. i thought it was a better idea to subject her to 4 hours on an airplane than to force her to live in a car for at least a week while i'm driving across the country.

and, i know we'd drive each other crazy and i'd constantly worry about her.

i'm looking forward to going home but i'm not as excited-- probably just because i know i'm moving there soon. i am most definitely looking forward to that.

i'm happy... i need to finish packing... i'm looking forward to christmas (and the way the weather looks, we may even have a white christmas in texas!). i'm looking forward to seeing the christmas tree with all the beautiful lights... i'm looking forward to my family meeting my kitty... i'm looking forward to seeing my niece and nephew on christmas, and many times after that, in january...

i have a lot to be grateful for... and i am! i was just thinking about this last night, actually... i am one of the luckiest people alive, i think... i have a family who loves me and who has finally learned to let me be my own person and make my own mistakes... i have friends who love me, great friends... i know myself well, i know what i want, i have a kick-ass kitty (who did a great job at the vet this morning!), and the list goes on.
