This week I've been on vacation.
I spent quality time with my bed, with myself, with my Cici. I spent some quality time with Boston, o city that I love. I mailed out some resumes, one for a part-time job teaching GED evening classes (which I'm more than qualified to do, which I know I would love to do, which would allow me to stay at my current teaching job also), and two full-time positions.
I'll be going through the want-ads from now until I find another job.
It's not by choice, believe me. I truly enjoy my job. They're just not paying me enough money to truly enjoy my job. I have to pay my bills. And I have to start paying them on time (oh yeah that).
Sometimes I wish I could be a high-powered, true BRAIN who wanted to be a lawyer or a doctor or an engineer who could pull $60K right out of college.
Instead, I chose to do the noble career of teaching.
Shit. I have to get to bed. It's 11:30pm, and I have to work 12 hours tomorrow.
Back to reality...
